This is a beautiful hand sewn quilt top. The lady I bought this from said Grandma Mitchell made this quilt. I don't know if it was her mother or grandmother, but I do know it is quite old, just looking at the fabric in the little squares. I don't know if this pattern has a name or if she just liked making blocks.
I do know the colors are vibrant. The pink background is a pink, but a little bit peachy. This will make a beautiful quilt for someone that knows how to quilt. Quilting is not one of my things, I love them, but never learned that art. Guess the closest thing is my crazy quilting smaller decorative things.
